A trip to Khe Ro - An Lac Commune - Son Dong District - Bac Giang Province

A month ago, I had a trip to Khe Ro Forest - a pristine place with 2 French volunteers and a Spain volunteer. It was very far from Hanoi. It took us about 4 hours. The road is so bad as well. I was really happy when I met local people. They were cosy, friendly and enthusiastic. However, I was sad because I saw their difficult condition. Their houses were made from straw and land. Their facilities were dangerous when having a storm. Local people took us to visit forest, streams and mountain. The landscapes were beautiful. The atmosphere was fresh and I felt comfortable.

 I together international volunteers helped local people make environment clean, do farming.

Before leaving, we cut corn and brought them back Hanoi. That both helped local people save money and gave relatives as small present.
